In association with Populous – the county’s preeminent sports architecture, arena and convention center design firm, was awarded the design service contract to provide design services for renovations of the RP Funding Center (formerly the Lakeland Center.) The Jenkins Arena, Sikes Hall, and Youkey Theater were first constructed in 1974, and the Exhibit Hall, Box Office, Administration Building, and Lake Hunter expansions in 1996. The RPFC is a vital part of the Lakeland cultural fabric and hosts an extremely dynamic variety of events and entertainment.
